Metro Deaf School - Minnesota North Star Academy

MDS-MNSA’s Academic Bowl Team won 2nd place in the in National Academic Bowl for Deaf and Hard of Hearing High School Students held at Gallaudet University.  The five students competed against sixteen other school for the deaf during two days of heated competition. Bri Herold, Jared Treichel, Linzie Fuechtmann, Jordan Duffy and Trevor Anderson were tied for first place (6-1) as they made their way to the final game for the championship.  They were defeated by Maryland School for the Deaf.  MDS-MNSA took home a 2nd place award and is very proud of their accomplishments!  Bri Herold was awarded the title of “Most Outstanding Player” by Gallaudet University.
