The MDS-MNSA board helped pass a law which enabled the school to better manage its cash flow.
06/07/10: MDS-MNSA wins 2nd Place in Academic Bowl
MDS-MNSA’s Academic Bowl Team won 2nd place!
06/07/10: Students Compete in RIT Science Fair
Eight high school students competed in the Rochester Institute of Technology Science Fair for D/HH Students.
Four students won awards in the 2010 Gallaudet National Essay, Art and ASL Contest.<
05/27/10: 2010-2011 Calendar
MDS-MNSA has announced its School Calendar for the 2010-2011 School Year.
Please note several important changes:
- ECSE (Pre-K) program will be 4 days a week vs. 3 days a week (Mondays – Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.)
- Early Release Days – we will have 4 early release days (school hours on early release days: 8:30 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.)
- Licensed Staff will return on August 24th – more information to come before the end of the school year. There will also be family orientation night on the 24th as well (before the state fair begins!).

05/27/10: HF 3329 passes!
HF 3329, the bill which enables MDS-MNSA to receive accelerated payments from the MN Department of Education, has passed the MN Legislature and was signed by the Governor.
05/11/10: MDS-MNSA Teacher Awarded Grant
2nd Grade teacher, Sara Hansen, was awarded a check for $7,330 as a winner of Qwest’s Technology Grants for Teachers!
